The Passing of Time

In collaboration with Windows of Opportunity, Dineke developed a corona-proof solo performance for alto sax, tenor sax and audio.
Part of the program is the new piece Workin', which composer Frans Vermeerssen composed for her, as well as Graham Fitkin's Passing and Dineke's improvisations in which she reflects on the passing of time.
This project is supported by the Performing Arts Fund NL.

Nederlands Saxofoon Octet

Het Nederlands Saxofoon Octet (Dutch Saxophone Octet, in short NS8) was founded in 2014 in Amsterdam by a group of recently graduated saxophonists. With a sopranino and a bass-saxophone and all sorts of saxophones in between, the ensemble has a wide range that allows interesting adaptations varying from chamber music to symphonies.
NS8 recorded Canto Ostinato by Simeon ten Holt on its debut album which was released in November 2019 on Cobra Records. Pizzicato Journal about NS8’s CD Canto Ostinato: ‘The present instrumentation offers the wonderful opportunity to experience the saxophone in its most beautiful timbres.’
